machinehead
Listening to vintage Christmas music piped in through Satellite receiver. The 40's and 50's music, even though it is compressed, piped over my satellite feed, played at 16/48.0 doesn't suffer from any digititis. So what is the deal with modern music. I am thinking you don't need tube gear if you listen to music recorded on it? Just some thoughts. The same feed listening to TV or modern music through my same DAC has some digititis. What gives? \"It would be a mistake to demonize any particular philosophy. To do so forces people into entrenched positions and encourages the adoption of unhelpful defensive reactions, thus missing the opportunity for constructive dialog\"[br] - Martin Colloms - stereophile.com Link to comment
