In terms of money collected and numbers of products not delivered, the LHL projects are bigger than both the situations described above.

In order to get to Larry Ho, I would advise we try to start thinking like Larry Ho. He is a Chinese national who has returned to his home country and is currently doing business in China (Who would want to do business with him in the USA or Europe??).

 

By the way, I am a successful online marketing expert who knows the Chinese market pretty well. 

 

In the past, Light Harmonic offered me money to stop me from doing the following: spread in China what they have done in the English speaking market. They offered me money because bad publicity in China is what really scares Larry Ho.

 

In the near future, I am planning to hire a a Chinese speaking person who can help me with a strategy that targets Chinese speaking forums. (Yes, I don't mind using money out of my own pocket. I feel like it is a personal matter.)

 

So my advice would be: spread the word! Go to every forum you can (including the "comments" area of news articles) and express your opinion on Larry Ho and Light Harmonic. Use their names. "Larry Ho" and "Light Harmonic" are keyterms, which means search engines will index them as such and do their own job to spread the news. Those who can do this in Chinese, you are our best allies!

 

I will try to come up with a solid online marketing strategy in the next few months that aims on communicating the Chinese speaking audio market on what Larry Ho did to the English speaking audio community. If there is anyone out there who speaks native level Chinese and might be able to assist me with this task, please let me know.

If you go on the Light Harmonic website, then go to their dealers section (USA and worldwide) then go to those dealer’s websites and look at the brands they carry... well it isn’t a pretty picture.  They appear to only have around 3 dealers worldwide, despite all the dealers listed on the Light Harmonic website.

 

But hey, they are currently running a 20% off special.

I had a nearly identical exchange with Jarek right around that very same time.

 

I never felt at any point that it was a sincere offer made in good faith, and when I asked upfront if that's what it was Jarek carefully avoided that entire question (repeatedly) and instead tried to get me to provide him with my personal contact details, ostensibly so that he could look up and confirm my refund amount. 

 

I told Jarek what the exact refund amount was, and that we'd have all the time in the world to iron out and confirm my IGG contribution details, and exactly how to remit that refund to me, but first we'd need to come to a basic agreement/understanding that this process would be conducted in good faith and with a refund final resolution as the upfront stated goal, agreed to by both parties. Somehow agreeing upfront to that simple notion wasn't possible.

 

It was never clear to me whether or not Jarek was at that point freelancing, or if Larry Ho was truly aware of the conversation and offer of a refund. My guess was that Larry knew nothing of it, but instead of guessing I asked Jarek to add Larry to the PM string so that we could all be on the same page.

 

Jarek then vanished on the entire topic, at which point I concluded the whole thing was merely an attempt by him to learn my personal identity, for whatever reason.

@The Computer Audiophile, I'm sorry to raise this issue again, but I have to renew my respectful request that you eliminate either the @stuck limo or @LHCommSquad account. Jarek, via his LHCommSquad account, asked @bernardperu to substantiate a claim he'd made about something shady LH/Jarek did. Then when Bernard provided direct substantiation, Jarek replied, via his Stuck Limo account, criticizing Bernard and claiming Bernard's evidence was not actually evidence.

 

Jarek posted under the Stuck Limo ID less than 40 minutes after he'd posted under the LH ID. I think this is completely unethical behavior on the forum, and removing one of Jarek's two identities is the least he deserves. As you know, I have repeatedly pushed back against some folks' tendency to label others here as "shills." But this is a case where I think reasonable people can agree that Jarek is a shill. Personally I think you should permanently kick him off the site entirely, but of course that's not my call.

Assuming for the sake of conversation that I were to offer you compensation for some of the time you've spent posting here recently (since you haven't billed LH), what would you accept? How much would it take to make you happy so you'd get back to your guests and stop posting here under two separate identities?

I'm not trying to bribe you - just saying that if I gave you a certain amount of money, it would then become unnecessary for you to continue posting here since you would be happy.

Thanks for making the case. I’ve been meaning to go over all the posts to come up with my own conclusion, but it’s clear now.

In my experience with Lhl looking back there where many people been dishonest with me Gina Manny and oh course you Jarek have told me many mistruths.

I wonder now if everyone was in on the game to deceive people so they could keep taking money.

As for Jarek’s position he looks as though he’s doing he’s best to protect Larry Ho and keep a law suit at bay. Wonder what motives that?
