I think I can speak for many others that a (if not the) real advantage of HQ Player (at least as a SQ tweak) is up-sampling 16/44 (or even 24/96) PCM to DSD... Possibly but it does not fit my preferences since I prefer to use DiracLive which functions only with PCM and at a maximum bitrate of 24/192.
