clicking back (using browser back button) to see my custom activity stream now refreshes faster.  And as @Superdad mentioned, overall experience is snappier indeed.  

 

It's cool to see this site progress professionally AND functionally.  Good work Chris.

Hi Chris:

Seems the "Unread Subscriptions" link/filter is not working for me in the past few hours (was fine early this morning on my iPad) here at my desk.  Here is the filter I use--and I know there are a handful of topics with new posts that I follow.  Yet it is saying that there is nothing to show.  Please advise.  Thanks!

 

 

P.S.  FYI: The Unread Subscriptions link at the top of all pages takes me to the following URL:

Hi Guys - Just an FYI, I'm working on an upgrade that will require the site be offline for a bit tonight. The upgrade will give us a couple new features including at least one about which I'll ask for opinions. We'll cross that bridge when the update is completed.

Hi Guys - The site is back up after a pretty harry upgrade that didn't go as planned (I never plan them to go perfect and this one was far from it). 

 

I'm expecting some issues, so please be patient and let me know what you find and I'll get right on it to fix it.

"Removed the name of the content (e.g. topic) from the “Next Unread” link which could consume significant server resources on large communities."

We’ve had this feature for years but it isn’t something I’ve promoted.

Chris, may be related to this test - OR due to the relaxation of thumbnail sizes - but email on iOS is once again an unreadably small font.

Since the latest update, there's a weird behaviour on the mobile site. If a scroll action passes some magic point near the bottom of any page, it immediately jumps back a little way the moment the scrolling stops. It's kind of annoying.

 

Chrome on Android. Requesting the desktop version makes it behave normally.

I'm also kind of allergic to ads 😊 - I understand it's revenue, and I'm happy to support the site, so if you want to raise the membership price for those of us who don't want them as one possible alternative, I'm in.

Thanks for the feedback about the email banner @Jud and @austinpop

 

PS - I asked the software vendor to enable me to not show these email banners to subscribers of the site. They thought it was a great idea but couldn’t implement it in time.

I would love that, because it is still unreadable to me - better, but not enough.
