PeterSt
In small (font - desktop) it looked like a chicken. LOL. The Computer Audiophile
Hi @PeterSt, I looked at the font size and don't know what the issue is. The font sizes are 14px with both Google fonts (the original setup) and without Google fonts (current setup). What size font do you see in your browser? Which font family is being used? Here's what I see. The only different is removal of the Google font called "Inter" Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
PeterSt
@The Computer Audiophile: This seems to make it normal again with 14 I see no difference): These two lines are screenshots, not text : I see no difference happening when "Inter" is added (but possibly I'm doing that wrongly) : I feel that this should be Segoe UI, but the weight is just a tad blacker than normal. PeterSt
Opera and Edge side by side: so I don't think it is browser related. fas42
I'm seeing the same as Peter - that is, in the last post the text in the screenshots matches, perfectly, the surrounding text typed in by Peter. Link to comment
fas42
To fix the look, I can zoom in, on Firefox, by a single click. Link to comment
fas42
Also happen to have the stevehoffman forum open - the font is actually much smaller, so get more on the screen - but it's a 'heavy' font, with far less white space in a block of text - on AS, by contrast, the text looks like it would float away in a puff of wind ... 😉 The Computer Audiophile 1 Link to comment
PeterSt
All the newspaper sites have a readable font, like you had. I don't like to ruin my eyes.
