OWC 2012 mini vs. new mini for Audirvana.....

Considering a mini for Audirvana upsampling,

dac either iDAC2 or iDSD black.

 

The contenders:

 

OWC late 2012, 2.3GHz quad core i7, 16gb, 240ssd.,

1TB HD., $1,200

vs.

new, 3.0 GHZ. dual core i7, turbo boost up to 3.5GHz,

16gb., 256 ssd., $1,400/ $1,540 after tax.

 

or another suggestion.

 

Opinions welcome.

I am using a 2011 Mac mini i5, with 16GB of Ram with Audirvana, but I am not up sampling anything to DSD or crazy high sampling rates, the DAC I use does that anyway. I added a 60GB SSD from OWC as well. No problems here.
