Would it be possible to show that AppleScript or attach a link to it here so we don't have to listen to the podcast?

 

That has been a major PITA in the use of iTunes - if you forget to mount the NAS with the iTunes media folder prior to opening iTunes, iTunes creates another media folder link on the hard drive of your computer. Very frustrating.

You can also do this in Windows:

 

Map the drive:

 

net use q: \\computername\sharename /persistent:yes

 

and then:

 

net config server /autodisconnect:-1
