firedog
Hi AllAm thinking of getting HQ Player (I have used Pure Music for a long time). My confession is that having just read through the manual, I didn't really follow it very well. It's obviously immensely powerful software. And judging from the manual it's not meant to be set-and-forget. Are there folks out there, like me, who aren't really versed in this stuff who successfully use HQplayer? Is there a friendlier manual out there somewhere to help users like me get the most out of the software? Many thanks Steven There's a bit of a learning curve and then it can be set and forget. Depends on you. I played with some different choices of filters and modulators and it quickly became apparent what i prefered. Now I just stick with that. Some users change filters acc'd to the type of music; that is too fiddly for me - I just use what "generall sounds best to me" and forget about it. I occasionally experiment, especially if a new filter is added. But for me it is basically set and forget.
