The VE Monks ($5 for the basic model) surely has one of the highest value/cost ratios. VE Monk + Earbuds Review They are great general-purpose earbuds and you won't feel a twinge if you lose a pair. I've had mine for a year, and no problems. 2013 MacBook Pro Retina -> {Pure Music | Audirvana} -> {Dragonfly Red v.1} -> AKG K-702 or Sennheiser HD650 headphones. Link to comment
