I just happened to be in room 6117 at 11. @Rt66indierock was also there. Ken from MQA was in the back.

But, for some reason the MQA presentation didn’t happen.

I think Ken wasn’t going make a presentation with me in the audience.

Just finished Neil’s book. Tons to discuss September 9, 2019, the publication date.

The countdown continues.

Opportunity missed, what a shame!
You should've waited outside the room and presented yourself once the MQA presentation had started. :)

I did talk to Ken afterward. I’ve talked with all the MQA people who have come to audio shows. We all know each other.

I talked a bit with Lee Scoggins this afternoon. I explained to him just because you have heard something from a what appears to be a reliable source doesn’t make it true. Especially when the person is saying the opposite in court filings.

Well, it is called Spin. A pic of the Spinmaster

Was pissed that the MQA cheques started bouncing?

And who was Mr. Analog? 😁

Lee didn’t like it when I told him David Chesky was not telling the truth about his attempt to launch a streaming service.

Mr Analog is a stereotype.

Are you implying there are things he actually does know?

What he knows and what is really going on are probably two different things.

Well he did figure out how to get to Denver so there is that.

That's not so difficult.  OTOH, flying out of Denver has presented real problems in the past. 😉

We waited Friday morning about 45 minutes to get a spot to land in Denver from Phoenix.

I had breakfast with a guy who is looking forward to your review of the Okto Research Dac 8.

the Denver airport is not in Denver, hence the name KIA

"The overwhelming majority [of audiophiles] have very little knowledge, if any, about the most basic principles and operating characteristics of audio equipment. They often base their purchasing decisions on hearsay, and the preaching of media sages. Unfortunately, because of commercial considerations, much information is rooted in increasing revenue, not in assisting the audiophile. It seems as if the only requirements for becoming an "authority" in the world of audio is a keyboard."

I swear I drive by my house in Minneapolis on the way to the “Denver” airport.

Middle of nowhere.

I client me we’re not in Kansas anymore as we closed in on the Denver Airport. I asked how could you tell?
