Gents,

Chris briefly posted a description of the upcoming Roon 1.3, then pulled it.

I remember seeing something to the effect that an "improved RAA" (my words) was in the pipe.

That will be another interesting development to follow, plus all the other improvements, especially the built-in HQP-type capabilities.

Did they partner with Jussi? I dont see them replicating all the work....

Hi,

I have been following this thread and I am seriously considering getting an Innos Zenith SE or maybe a statement.

 

I have mainly three questions at this stage:

a) I have 1,000 cds ripped in AIFF... Is that supported?

b) I currently use HQP (see my signature) and I have a hard time imagining parting with it. Should I keep my mac mini setup (and eventually get a new Mac Pro 2019) and use the Zenith in NAA? 

c) Or would an antipodes CX + ES be a better fit for me?

 

I don't do/want to do PCM -> DSD conversion. I just like the flexibility and filters. Or maybe the SQ with SE/Statement stands on it own and I will just simplify my chain....

The problem with scenario 2 is the transformer's vibration ressonating with each other. This is the same reason we don't use two HDDs in the same enclosure (as well as the additional power noise they produce as well). Decoupling the transformers on a same box is not an easy task, at least to fully decouple them. The problem with 3. is both cost and ackwardness - 8 rails for a Statement would require 8 boxes, each with decent anti-vibration treatment and decent power chords as well as 8 plugs to connect them on a decent mains extension...

2) I wish you would add support for HQPlayer NAA. This is the main reason I haven't pull the trigger yet.

3) Do you have any SE available? (PM me please)

4) I don't expect an answer... but when will you annonce a product between the MKII and the Statement?
