How to........Light Harmonic Lightspeed USB cable

Hello,

I'm waiting to receive a 3,8m LH Lightspeed usb cable in the split configuration A/A-B but it's too long for my actual set up where the mac and the dac are very close. My idea should be to envelop the data cable on itself and lay it on the top of the dac and envelop the other cable close to the usb power supplier (a battery pack or usb charger...only for the handshake with the dac) and far from the data of course. Son not using the spacers....What do you think??

 

Any different advice? I can't have a shorter length now...

I have the 1 meter Lightspeed in split and non split. Not much difference, like an Oyaide better than either.

Like FireWire and Thunderbolt connected dacs better than the USB dacs tried so far.
