mkrzych
Plangent process is the process to replay master tapes over the special preview head and than check and correct all the tape problems like wow and flutter. Grateful Dead Album Collection was treated by this process: How Airshow Remastered the Grateful Dead Studio Albums | Airshow Mastering, but only possible to purchase as the whole collection dated from 2013. All the albums from 2012 were done by the older Mickey's mix unfortunately. -- Krzysztof Maj http://mkrzych.wordpress.com/ "Music is the highest form of art. It is also the most noble. It is human emotion, captured, crystallised, encased… and then passed on to others." - By Ken Ishiwata Link to comment
jamiehowarth
Actually the albums through American Beauty are available in versions with Plangent processing, transferred and remastered in the past few years. Nitpick - the original box and HD with all the albums (from 2014) had all the master mixes *except* Mickey's 5.1 mix. Link to comment
