Joe Bloggs
I,ve got a Fiio X5 with the latest firmware in it. If I load Flac files on to it the library uses the file names instead of the tag names. Is there a way to fix this. Everything is fine when using Winamp so I know the tags are ok. The Fiio also uses the tag when showing the "now playing" but I want the entire library to be sorted out using the tag names. Thanks. Link to comment
audiventory
If I load Flac files on to it the library uses the file names instead of the tag names. I don't remember experience with Fiio, but our customers had metadata issues due: - encoding of text metadata, - artwork size (too big picture). If atrowork too big (player's restriction realy exists) need apply restriction of its width and height. We specially applied in our metatag editor this function for portable audio players. I suspect, the encoding issue is not matter in your case, so need check size artwork first. Look forums by phrase like "fiio artwork size" of "fiio artwork resolution". Check different tagging software.
