- PCM conversion R2R discrete ladder - up to 26 bit, up to 192 kHz via SPDIF, up to 384 kHz via USB

- DSD conversion via USB only, auto-sensing, auto switching, 64x, 128x, 256x

- inputs: USB, spdif (BNC, RCA), toslink

- outputs: balanced XLR pair, single ended RCA pair

- Jupiter output capacitors, silver internal wiring

- special metal rings around tubes

- 115/230 V switch on the back

-Extra Mullard GZ32 rectifier tube

I'm always intrigued when the flaws of the previous generation are finally aired in a review, only when a newer model (Atlantis) that replaces it no longer has those flaws.

At this level of sound it can be taste driven, some like more smooth stuff, some like more direct. This is why all the options are a good thing. Also upgrade path helps to keep it exactly how you want it.

How much amped are the signal on the rca outputs,enough for headphones if you have a passive preamp after?
