Is this any good to power an FMC, Intona or other low draw devices?

Looks powerful and good value... would this likely deliver cleaner/better power than a well designed LPS?

I wonder how long it would power an TP Link FMC or Intona for?

... any other similar high power devices?

I use a similar on feeding my intona...

If you don't like making cables use an ifi I defender it has ground lift is tech...

I use my phone so for practical purposes it saves my phone from dying fast.... I can't hear a difference but should be better than a PC laptop ect....

lasts for ages through the intona ifi ipurifier 2 to my Mytek Brooklyn usb....

Some here use bigger square batteries but this was handy and cheap and a phone charger cable works nice to the I defender.......

I hope this helps

Cheers

Cheers.

I always make my own cables (and my Intona is data only, no gnd or 5v, so no outward current draw).

How long does it power your Intona for before it needs charging (days, weeks, months)?

I have never ran it down on mine ....it's 20000mah but like I said I have the ifi ipurifier 2 plugged in also...I wouldn't know what that uses....

At a rough guess a week at 3-4 hours....

Longer for you, just an over night charge but 2 - 3 hours keeps it over middle... I follow the old rule of not fully draining......Sorry I am not much help my friend

There are two conflicting aspects to these devices:

1) they break leakage loops which can significantly improve SQ

2) they usually have very poor switching regulators on their outputs

#2 makes SQ worse, #1 makes it better. So as usual in audio, the net result depends on the system, it might make no difference, it might improve thing or it might degrade things.

Good point re the quality of the chips, this one looks very well made and states US made chips, I've ordered one to try.
