wwaldmanfan
I have a 1.3 TB music library (approx. 1500 albums) on my iMac that are all AIFF, a mix of bit/sample rates from 16/44.1 up to 24/192 PCM. I want to transcode the entire library to 16/44.1 level 8 FLAC for playback on a PC/Sonos system, and preserve the metadata, alphabetical library structure, and embedded cover art. I'm attempting to copy it to a new, 2TB WD MyBook hard drive which I have formatted ExFat. What is the most efficient software and least labor-intensive way to do this? Thank you for your advice. wwaldmanfan
Thanks. I decided to use 'ol reliable XLD. I'm doing it in batches of about 50 albums at a time on my extra iMac. Should have it knocked out in a day. Link to comment
