The newest Reference Recordings Fresh! series Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra of the Strauss Elektra and Der Rosenkavalier has just been released. This Soundmirror DSD256 recorded, DXD edited release is available in stereo and 5.0 multichannel on nativedsd.com in all three DSD bit rates, plus a DXD flac.

 

This is notable, for the separate DSD format releases use the NativeDSD exclusive delivery mastering process of directly producing the three DSD rates independently, without intermediate formats, from the DXD edited master. This is as close as it can get to the original edited DXD mastered recording.
