What Is This?

Not me. As usual, I had to learn the hard way. Cable Company sent me one with an order. I finally figured out how it worked after slicing my finger wide open on the razor inside.

Been there. Done that. :)

Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby
Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley
Through the middle of my skull

Mine looks like...

...in my opinion / experience...

While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing.

And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism.

keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out.

I'm glad we don't get that sticky tape sticker in Europe.

I hate it when Amazon sends me a North American CD.

I've always found this method works the best for removing the sticker:

How about doing it not using hands..?

Wouldn't that be something..? ;)

It would certainly be something...

I've played a game before with friends:

"Laws I'd make if I was Dictator for a Day"

Here are a couple of mine, sort of relevant to the thread:

1. Ban American-style shrink wrap - the kind that is totally tight up against the object inside;

2. Ban the use of the hard plastic "clam-shell" packaging that is used to package all small items that are sometimes displayed "hanging" in a store. It's often near impossible to open/get object out - even if you have a sharp tool or scissors.

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +_iFi  AC iPurifiers >Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Conditioning+Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Listening: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Matrix Element i Streamer/DAC (XLR)+Schiit Freya>Kii Three .

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: RPi 3B+ running RoPieee to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)

Extra annoying when the item inside is a knife.
