debt_collector
I fitted my new Lynx AES16e and installed the windows 7 beta driver from the Lynx site. I connected AES output 1 to my Bryston BDA-1 (had a look at windows audio settings and this output - play 1+2 - shows as 'speakers'). I was able to select this output in XBMC audio hardware setting and music was played beautifully. However, when try to play music off iTunes, all I get is silence. Can anyone help? Also, when installing driver, I wasn't given the option of what drivers to install, asio or wdm. Can someone please explain how to choose between the two? Which one is better? The Computer Audiophile
Hi d_c - The Lynx drivers don't give you the option of ASIO or WDM or anything else. At least I've never seen it before with Lynx software. Do you have the Lynx Play 1+2 Speakers set as your default output? This is what iTunes should send the audio output to.
