Led Zeppelin Complete BBC Sessions

Recommended Posts

Anybody heard these as cd's or 24-96 downloads?

Yes, on CDs. The recording quality is ok/average - perhaps safe to say that it's below Zeppelin I album (the recording of which Jimmy Page organized and paid for).

There are plenty of opinions on the mastering quality in this 30 page Steve Hoffman forum thread:

Led Zeppelin BBC Sessions (UPDATE - Remastered & Expanded CD & Vinyl Releases 16th September 2016) | Steve Hoffman Music Forums

If you've never heard those sessions, you should be aware that the recording quality is not on the same level as the main albums, and IIRC most of the tracks are mono.
