bottlerocket Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 I have the Cambridge DacMagic DAC that supports 24/96 max via Toslink and I have some 24/192 AIFF and WAV tracks played on a MacBook with Itunes. I set the Audio Midi on the MAC to 24/96 and this is the maximum choice on the Macbook (Toslink). My question: Is it better to convert the tracks to 24/96 prior to playing or just let the MacBook handle it during playback? If better to convert, how is this done? Link to comment
