Auralic Lightning Firmware beta testing for multichannel

So Auralic has now announced new firmware for beta testing. It is supposed to allow multichannel PCM up to 384kHz and multichannel DSD up to DSD256 when mated with compatible multichannel DACS. No word on the NADAC and Exasound multichannel DACS specifically though I doubt that the Exasound would be compatible given that Exasound is its own ecosystem. The NADAC also works via Ethernet so there is highly significant doubt in that case as well. Does the Lightning Server require 3 stereo DACS in order to work? Questions and more questions. An intriguing step by Auralic nonetheless.
