For the rest, made my filters with freeware Room Eq Wizard

How does the convolution engine work together with DSD files? Is it possible without converting to PCM?

I've used RC + EQ for many years. Filters created with Audiolense. Convolution with BrutefirDRC in LMS. In this combination I also use EQ in sox as sox is used anyway as part of BrutefirDRC. I have also user JRiver in DLNA mode with DSP engine. Works very well.

My dac has a Lyngdorf Room Perfect chip and software. Been using this setup for about six years. It is so old it only does 96/24.

I have tried better and newer dacs and end up back with the old one. I use a sub and the DR helps in blending the sub in with the mains.

At risk of being banished, I confess that I find the Audyssey XT32 in my Marantz AVR does a respectable job.
