shane1900
Hi, Was hoping the power button the new Apple TV remote would also turn on the receiver but it doesn't. Apple uses HDMI to send the on/off signal so it turns on/off the TV fine. I have an older Nad T752 that doesn't have HDMI but does have 12v triggers. Curious if there's a special way to get the trigger to activate such as if optical audio receives input then trigger on etc. There are no triggers on the TV. SETUP Apple TV > HDMI > TV > Optical Audio Output > NAD Receiver. Thanks for looking! Link to comment

shane1900
This maybe a solution, has anybody used it for this purpose before? CS12V | Switching Systems | Niles Audio TV power connected to > Niles 12v output > Nad 12v input to power on when TV being used. Link to comment
