The Computer Audiophile
Not sure high resolution is going to make a difference with this track, but Beck fans will think it's interesting. I think it's cool he's at least offering it in high resolution. Beck - WOW Digital Download – Beck Store Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

PhilR
I'm not a dynamic range nazi, but this brings up an interesting question. Assuming the original source material was recorded & archived with a DR4, what would be the possible benefits of releasing in a high-res format? Frequency response beyond 21khz? Booster MPS
I liked the song. It goes far enough to not take itself too seriously that I found my self grooving to it. Not sure I could do a full album with this approach but it was cool. Link to comment

DR value = 4 I'll place my vote against this type of extreme compression with my wallet and just keep my money in my pocket. Plenty of other music to support and spend my money on. How is it possible, how did it ever happen, that they trust fairy-tale purveyors and mystic gurus more than reliable sources of scientific information?" Peter Aczel - The Audio Critic R.I.P.
