New firmware v5.2 for iFi customers (ONLY!)

I am plagued with a lot of static (micro iDSD). A+ PCM to DSD very noisy if volume reduction is none, better if volume reduction is added.

 

Also A+ PCM upsamplig very staticky when 2x upsampling yields high sample rates (705.6kHz).

 

I no longer have static. On my side might have been an A+ bug since fixed. iFi replicated the bug though, so there may be more to it.

Why not? I upgraded my Nano iDSD and am very pleased with the result. The process takes but 30 secs, and offers:

 

Minor Optimisations

Similar to v5.1 but with:

• Small code optimisations.

• Fixed issues surrounding DoP standard; including ‘clicks’ when changing tracks and sonic differences to native DSD.
