Jud, are you saying that all Nyquists in the world are audiophiles?

Are you predicting that, come post time, Nyquist will hit the proverbial brick wall?

Apparently not ;)

I think an excellent name for a derby winner would be "Bits ain't bits".

Or maybe "USB and ME"

Or "California Streaming".

Or "Ripping ain't easy, but he's my brother".

"parity bit"

And finally, yes, I know you were waiting on the last one:

"Checksum" or perhaps "Checksumthing"

And always keep in mind: Cognitive biases, like seeing optical illusions are a sign of a normally functioning brain. We all have them, it’s nothing to be ashamed about, but it is something that affects our objective evaluation of reality.

Bummer: Nyquist was named for Swedish ice hockey player Gustav Nyquist who plays for the Detroit Red Wings.

I am so surprised (NOT!) he wasn't named after someone only various technical specialist/researchers and audiophile nerds know about...:)

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +_iFi  AC iPurifiers >Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Conditioning+Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Listening: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Matrix Element i Streamer/DAC (XLR)+Schiit Freya>Kii Three .

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: RPi 3B+ running RoPieee to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)
