Distinctive
Those with both Regen and uRendu, have anyone tried the Meanwell PSU for the Regen on the uRendu and compared this against the iFi one for uRendu? Link to comment
Distinctive
Thanks Doak for stating your impressions. I was thinking of switching those PS' however the Regen cannot take 9VDC from the iFi (8V max) so I hope I reach the same conclusion. Link to comment
Distinctive
Seems quite similar to the company making mine: https://www.xtpower.de/MP-32000-Ultra-High-Capacity-Power-Bank-with-32000mAh-Multi-Voltage-Charger-5-20V-60W I have seen at least 3 different variations of the same unit. Good to hear that you are happy with it Link to comment
Distinctive
What kind of runtime are you guys getting with that battery? I get >24h with mine when powering the uRendu alone. Link to comment
Distinctive
Can you shut down that battery using it's on/off switch, or must you physically disconnect it from the load for it to turn off? I ask because I have an older Anker Astro with a 9/12vdc output that refuses to shut down unless physically disconnected from the load, despite the manufacturer assuring me it will turn off using the switch. I find that annoying, I would prefer not to have to unplug the umbilical cable when I want to shut it down, but there is no way to do that. This is confirmed and I also find it a bit annoying. The cable must be pulled out at the battery end to not discharge the battery. There is no Off button. I think there is a reasoning behind this way of working. Link to comment
Distinctive
I have 50000mAh to my disposal so if 32000 lasts for 24h for the uRendu I guess I have some extras Link to comment
Distinctive
Interesting PSU alternative: http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f20-buy-and-sell-audio-and-computer-components/handcrafted-audiophile-linear-power-supply-kenneth-lau-19040/index7.html#post555350 I have the KL PSU for Lumin A1. Distinctive
https://www.smallgreencomputer.com/collections/custom-units/products/sonictransporter-roon-server-hqplayer Nice, but I would prefer if it came with ripping possibilities for a one-box solution. I wonder how the uR (NAA) and this one works (SQ) compared with the MGS. Link to comment
