mitch751
I can't claim what our ripping software (AuI ConverteR) or other is the best. Because need serious researches of big number dedicated test CDs. [in general words, our ripping technology described here Safe Audio CD Ripping Technology] Main problem for such researches may be unknown original binary content of third party’s CDs. For tests of safety degree (number of detected/restored real errors) we use special damaged CDs with exactly known binary content (created from own WAVs). For tests need several such CDs with different audio content and different damaging degree. After extracting CD, ripped WAVs binary compared with original WAVs and estimated: 1. Number of non-restored (by both CD-drive and the CD ripper) bytes. 2. Length in track before first non-restored byte. 3. Displaying [fatal] / [probable restored] error at user interface of the ripper. It allow take full control under correctness of test results. After a trial period, I finally bought this Aul ConverteR, as my personal preference I recommend this Aul !! jventer 1 B&W 800 Diamond D2, Goldmund Eidos Reference CD, Goldmund Telos 600, Goldmund Mimesis 32, Cello Audio Palette MIV.[br]MacBook Pro, LIO, Mytek 192, HD800, Luxman SQ-38U, Luxman MQ-88u Link to comment
