Electrical/Computer Engineer. Started playing with audio and computers since high school in the mid 70s. Audio design (active loudspeakers) early on, then embedded systems design (DSP heavy), and on to running the Information Technology Department for a mid size US company. Used to be an audiophile until I discovered that I really liked music more than the equipment.

Developed and manage program for ensuring that all major critical equipment (frame class combustion and steam turbines, high voltage electrical transformers & generators, high volume high pressure vertical turbine pumps, large boilers, etc.) meet manufacturing, technical specification and testing requirements, etc. I get to play with the big stuff.....

I'm a college professor, and just in case the next poll is about ice cream, my favorite flavor is chocolate chip :)

Currently learning to code in VBA. Have recently become aware that I'm too old to learn to code in VBA.
