Power Regenerators - Experiences and opinions sought

So I have noticed that tons of noise and garbage going through my system when certain appliances are being used in the house. I have been itinerant and renting lately so I can't really make any major wiring changes to the house. For the purpose of simplicity and portability, I have considered some power regenerators like those from PS Audio. Has anyone here used them? How do they perform and do they really isolate the system completely from everything else on the mains? They claim serious current delivery, but I still wonder about them somewhat neutering a power amp. Anyone have experience with these?
