HQPlayer and Ubuntu Studio 16.04

Anyone found out how to configure us so that volume up/down keys work with hqplayer?

 

Worked perfectly in 14.04, but cannot make it work in 16.04...

 

Next/previous keys do work, but volume only with knob in hqplayer...

 

I use flirc/apple remote to adjust volume and skip tracks...I know, I am lazy...

Probably some system component is hooking to those keys and that's why they key presses don't end up in HQPlayer.

 

You could try the alternative keys:

F10 - mute

F11 - volume down

F12 - volume up

Go into the control panel and make sure the right keyboard is selected. Sometimes when you do an update, some of the settings don't always carry over.

Alternative keys (arrow up and down) do work...only problem is I do not have those on the apple remote. Keyboard is correct...

I wait a few more days till official release...

Still not working, but I use openbox for hqplayer now...I think it is even a little bit better sounding...any one else tried this?
