Is there anywhere to read cd reviews of quality

Hello

I have just bought a Philips cd of Mozart string and wind quintets and quartets by acadamy of st martins in the field 1991. I find the quality rather lacking and would like the facility to look up the cd first. Has anyone any ideas as I am on a strictly limited budget so cant afford the wrong choice.

This purchase was because I reconnected my pioneer pl-3000 and played mozart horn quintet k407 and it was brilliant but I wanted a cd.

Any ideas please.
