joelha
Currently, I'm running a 25 foot HDMI cable from my server to my listening position. The very small Linux installation I'm running doesn't, at least at this time, even have a network capability. Trust me, for me, it's worth it. I've seen wireless HDMI devices like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Nyrius-Transmitter-Streaming-Satellite-NAVS500/dp/B005H3AU1Y/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1457878358&sr=1-4&keywords=wireless+hdmi But I'm wondering, even if I put a linear power supply on the device in the above link, am I adding more electrical noise going that route or by leaving a 25 HDMI cable in place? I'm also using running a wireless bluetooth keyboard as well: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-Touchpad-Internet-Connected/dp/B014EUQOGK/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1457878547&sr=1-4&keywords=logitech+bluetooth+keyboard Am I better off running the Corning optical USB cable and connecting a usb keyboard instead? I'm open to other suggestions as well. For the bits are bits crowd, please move along. Nothing to see here. Thanks. Joel Link to comment
