Audio_ELF
Just read the news that George Martin has passed away aged 90. 'Fifth Beatle' Sir George Martin dies, aged 90 - BBC News Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment

Jud
Ahh, sadness. Reading the BBC News article with all the hagiography (deserved), I wished for John still to be alive to puncture the reflective mood with some typically insolent and funny remark. Exactly what I was talking about above appears in the last sentence of Paul McCartney's tribute: God bless you George and all who sail in you! He, of course, also did musical arrangements. Esau Link to comment
