I was once quick to judge Uh Huh Her and called it her least satisfying album. Didn't listen to it for years. Went back to it this year and love it. Great artists, like PJ, have complexity that might not be so evident early on with a work. findog3103 Posted July 7, 2016 Share Posted July 7, 2016 Okay, huge PJ fan and after listening a few times to the new record in the spring I was slightly disappointed, but then I put it on today after not listening for a few weeks and wow! The first three songs are killer and it really doesn't let up. This is how Uh Huh Her worked as well. So, if you haven't for awhile, give another listen. The songs from the last two albums really come alive with the 8 piece band she has behind her, including Mick Harvey and John Parrish. Don't hesitate to go if she's coming to your town.
