I was in nearby appliance store recently and saw this unit for sale:

Samsung 4000Watt Giga Sound System - MX-JS9500 / MXJS9500 - IN STOCK

4000 watts! 18 inch woofer, that is lit up by led lighting no less...oh yea, 4000 watts!! Before I get this system, I am going to call the electrical company and make sure the meter can spin that fast.

Obviously, it is using the same advanced technology that are used in my children's toys, where two AA batteries can power a tiny speaker to something around 120db. I knew the toy manufactures could not keep this technology under wraps for long...

Hey MQA, if it is not all $voodoo$, show us the math!

Perhaps Peter Thomas should be looking for a trade in...

he only has 1800w on each channel (2x300 + 2x600 per channel)

...in my opinion / experience...

While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing.

And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism.

keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out.
