Account Closed
Jesus, Should a person wish to go the Signature Rendu route, what would be the performance differential? I realize the output is different, but what is the comparison? Also, I saw you mention somewhere that SGC is building a dedicated LMS appliance but I can't find anything about it on the SGC site. Account Closed
Another good Linear Supply option is the CIAudio 9V. I had one leftover from my SB Duet days and use it with the microRendu with excellent results. It is not cheap but it is very well built. Mine has years of continuous use and is still going strong. Alex at Uptone has a beautiful custom 5.5x2.5 ===> 5.5x2.1 cable that I use with this combo. CIAUDIO : VDC•9 MKII - High Current Power Supply Link to comment
Account Closed
Jesus, Is 112.2 degrees Fahrenheit too hot for the microRendu to run? I have mine running off of a CIAudio 9V/2A linear supply and output is to a BelCanto ULink which draws one watt (5V@200ma). I checked the case temp with a thermometer to get this reading. It feels warm to me but it is not too hot to hold continuously. Maybe you could check with John Swenson. I remember that he said it should not be so hot that you could not hold it but he never mentioned an actual temperature upper limit that I can remember. If it is too hot then I will get the power supply from Uptone when it is available and use the CIAudio as a charger. I love this product and want it to last. Thanks, Bob Link to comment
Account Closed
All the updates are talked about on this forum. There is only one application in beta form and it's not listed in the official product pages. You can decide to participate it that testing or not. What is the beta app? Link to comment

Account Closed
LMS and the SqueezeLite output mode are great. I'm surprised more people don't use it. I use it and it is great. I have been using it in some form for over 10 years so I am familiar with all the setup quirks. I also really like the ickStream plugin to stream multiple providers including Tidal. Link to comment
Account Closed
Hi Jesus, I can't find the list, so I thought I would ask: Is the microRendu (RAAT output mode) compatible with Singxer SU-1. I think I saw something where a poster was having trouble and just wanted to make sure before I order one. Thanks, Bob Link to comment

I Jesus will need to sort this out. Link to comment

The sonic orbiter site doesn't recognize it either. the Rendu to my computer with a USB cable (the Mac has only USB ports). I'll try posting this on your website as well. Thank youI connected The USB port on the mRendu is only for the output signal to the DAC. The input must come from the RJ45 ethernet jack and a router via a cat5e or better cable (and in your case using a wireline extender). I am confused by your statement "connected the Rendu to my computer with a USB cable". barrows 1 Link to comment

Great, I thought that might be it. Hope that solves his issue. You might have him check his router with the new card to see if DHCP has assigned an ip address and also while there lock that ip to the mRendu to avoid future problems. Link to comment
