agillis
We have completed RoonReady certification for the Sonicorbiter SE. Jesus form Sonore posted a great picture of the UI here http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f26-sonore-sponsored/sonore-sonicorbiter-se-ethernet-universal-serial-bus-industry-standard-cables-connectors-and-communications-protocols-between-computers-and-electronic-devices-and-optical-output-27028/index2.html#post498830 I love the little wire frame picture of the unit itself in the lower right. I have been doing some testing with it today and it's really amazing. Roon does all the required processing on the server so the player can have a very small low power CPU. http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f11-software/roon-labs-software-23986/index35.html#post498847 agillis Small Green Computer http://www.smallgreencomputer.com/ Link to comment

Have you tested both the RoonReady & Squeezelite options of the Sonicorbiter SE with Roon? I'd be very interested to know how they compare and if there are any differences and advantages/disadvantages to using either option with Roon. Thanks John We are far more united and have far more in common with each other than things that divide us. -- Jo Cox Link to comment
agillis
The RoonReady option will be better. You can see the signal path right down to the DAC in the Roon interface. Also you get the use the RAAT protocol end to end on the network. The squeezebox interface is nice to light up the millions of Squeezebox players out there. But you will still get a better experience with a full RoonReady certified device. agillis Small Green Computer http://www.smallgreencomputer.com/ Link to comment
