My BIOS SETTING for Audio Optimized.

Recommended Posts

I set it base on Paul's suggestion but i found it need to be a little bit adjusted because it seems to run unstable and slow.

CPU and Graphic clock is fine at 800MHz (work very well and background noise and harshness has gone, more mellow sound)

but RAM, i need to adjust up to 10.33 instead of 800 (800 is unstable for my pc and sometime can't boot)

For downvoltage, i adjusted it up from Paul's suggestion for a couple of steps. I found Paul's setting sounds too thin and lack of punch for my pc. After adjusted to the values which is on my photo attached, it sounds great.

I don't know it was right or wrong? and which value need to be adjusted more for any reason?

Need your sharing and comments ^_^

Thanks for this. I can't help with more settings, but take a look at the AO guide too, more BIOS settings there. You seem to have at least some of those covered here.

Looks like DDR4 RAM? What processor?

Is this a PPA modified board, or did you add the clock yourself?

In the AO installation instructions are some suggested BIOS settings. That's what I meant.

I am waiting for a PPA TCXO board, Black SATA cables and OCXO OS SSD to arrive, among several other PPA items.

Wow! That is great!

Could you review them some for me?

In my opinion, black cable makes a hugh change. The hi is more subtle detail, more resolution. Sound stage is bigger wider and deeper. Great vocal but it is not kind of sweet sound. I think it's warm mellow sound but not kind of coloration.
