Thanks I don't use DBpoweramp, I use XLD, but I imagine it's similar. In Preferences, under output format, you select AIFF, then under Options, for sample rate and bit depth, you select "same as original". Link to comment

In the dialog box that appears, you select the format, encoding, and location for the converted files. "Relax, it's only hi-fi.
