I recently bought the Vega and liked it so much that I sold both my W4S DAC2se from my main system and also my TEAC 501 from my headphone rig. I have the Vega in my main system and now need to replace the TEAC. I realize that I could get another Vega but want to explore other approaches so I am considering something else in the same weight class as the Vega. Any thoughts? shp Posted October 27, 2015 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Does the Vega has headphone out? The Chord Hugo and Hugo TT are top headphone DACs The Ayre Codex apparently is very close to the QB-9. And Simaudio, Benchmark, the new Mytek Brooklyn and Audeze should be on your list. Link to comment
