Keith_W
I have only recently signed up but I have been lurking for a while. I notice that this forum does not have a dedicated "showcase" subforum, where members can post pictures of their setups. I have found that this type of forum is very useful for people new to sites, it helps you understand what people are doing. A bit like a mini personal blog. Would admin consider adding a forum like this? As for me, I am thinking of building a hotrodded WinPC music server. I have been an audiophile for a very long time, just not a computer audiophile! All that will change, very soon! Link to comment

wgscott
Thats a fantastic idea. Posters should also include their full address, and the hours when no one is at home, and, ideally, an estimate of what the equipment is worth should it need to be unloaded quickly on CraigsList. Link to comment
Gonzbull
I'm all for it. Pay no attention to wgscott. He probably listens to music with a gun in his lap. Just in case a hoodlum hears the beautiful sounds and decides to investigate. Link to comment

And, perhaps, the medication they are on. "Relax, it's only hi-fi. Actually if the system was the fully resolving "absolute sound" the hoodlum would think it's a poor musician practicing and have no interest Analog: Koetsu Rosewood > VPI Aries 3 w/SDS > EAR 834P > EAR 834L: Audiodesk cleaner Digital Fun: DAS > CAPS v3 w/LPS (JRMC) SOtM USB > Lynx Hilo > EAR 834L Digital Serious: DAS > CAPS v3 w/LPS (HQPlayer) Ethernet > SMS-100 NAA > Lampi DSD L4 G5 > EAR 834L Digital Disc: Oppo BDP 95 > EAR 834L Output: EAR 834L > Xilica XP4080 DSP > Odessey Stratos Mono Extreme > Legacy Aeris Phones: EAR 834L > Little Dot Mk ii > Senheiser HD 800 Link to comment
