Slefty
My son's notebook's HDD failed, and he lost his iTunes library. It was mostly files ripped from CD. It is still on his 160GB iPod Classic. I am looking for how to recover the files from the iPod to his library. I've already copied the files directly from the iPod to the desktop on his notebook, but nothing I've tried had restored them to his library. All the free downloads I've looked at so far seem to work with iPhones or the Touch, but not the Classic. Any ideas? The notebook is running Win8 if that makes a difference. He leaves for a three to six month adventure on Monday, so I'm trying to complete this over the weekend. Link to comment

orgel
+1. Senuti has worked well for me in similar circumstances. --David Listening Room: Mac mini (Roon Core) > iMac (HQP) > exaSound PlayPoint (as NAA) > exaSound e32 > W4S STP-SE > Benchmark AHB2 > Wilson Sophia Series 2 (Details) Office: Mac Pro > AudioQuest DragonFly Red > JBL LSR305 Mobile: iPhone 6S > AudioQuest DragonFly Black > JH Audio JH5 Link to comment
Slefty
From their website it looks like it only runs on a MAC. My son has a Win 8 PC. Link to comment
Slefty
Okay, I downloaded TouchCopy from Wideanglesoftware (www.wideanglesoftware.com). Cost $29.99 and it worked perfectly. Pretty quick too. Link to comment
