QNAP TS-251 with HDMI, will it pass multichannel DSD?

I have been searching for a method to bitstream multi-channel dsf files from a NAS or PC thru the DAC in my Marantz SR6009.

 

Using Minimserver on a PC via ethernet I can play Pure DSD in stereo. The Marantz will play multi-channel Pure DSD thru HDMI with my SACD player without conversion to PCM.

 

The big question: Will the QNAP TS-251 "with 7.1 channel surround sound pass-through via HDMI output" act the same as my SACD player and play in Pure DSD mode without conversion to PCM?

 

anyone doing anything similar? Thanks for ant insights.
