I have these two files but I don't understand what there for:

OptimizeOSX v1.3.command

ResetOSX v1.3.command

The first one opens a terminal and issues a series of commands that turn off various startup items and other processes. The second one is supposed to put stuff back to how it was initially.

 

Back up everything before you use the script, and ideally you should understand what each command does.

 

(My personal, unsolicited, opinion is not to use this.)

I tried CAD scripts many times in different settings. In some cases it brings good result, in some not. I would suggest to try and find out yourself. Be careful though, and make backups - it's on your own risk.
