bonzo
Hi has anyone compared Paul Hynes, Uptone JS-2,Core Kaia, or RWBL LPSUs? How do they compare to the cheaper Teradak, Teddy Pardo Also, I assume the MoBo LPSU is the most important followed by the USB and then the HD? Where do you hit diminishing returns? sandyk
It is possible to get great results by keeping the original SMPS , and further cleaning up the power to the Optical device, USB, OS and Music SSDs by using additional small PSU PCBs powered by the main +12V internal supply. Also use SATA3 6GB/s screened cable that are as short as possible if it's a P.C. These are however, DIY solutions, not commercial, except for perhaps the USB area. How a Digital Audio file sounds, or a Digital Video file looks, is governed to a large extent by the Power Supply area. All that Identical Checksums gives is the possibility of REGENERATING the file to close to that of the original file. PROFILE UPDATED 13-11-2020 Link to comment
