Audirvana Plus Questions

Hi

 

I have the audirvana plus 2.0.12 and my questions are :

 

When you lower the max. volume level in the audio volume preference does that cause the bit output to be less then perfect ?

 

If so :

 

Can I set the max. volume control at the maximum level and lower the output volume using the audio units ?

 

If so :

 

How could I configure the audio units to lower the output volume and still have bit perfect playback ?

Yes, no and no. Anything you do that alters the bits means you no longer have “bit perfect”.

But is that important to you? Upsampling is not bit perfect...
