audiventory
I'm used 6 series. Proper for mixing. However has many bass. Generally no bad. But I prefer more "flat" frequency response. You need listen the monitors. audiventory
Some time ago I have conversation with one man who asked about KRK too. After he buy Yamaha's monitors. KRK has bias to bass, more then I like. However, KRK has no bad price/quality ratio. Price $500 per 1 monitor me seems entry level. mistersprinkles
When I was looking for monitors, I found that the Tannoy Reveals had higher reviews than the lower end rockits. Maybe look at Tannoy Reveal 502's. They're about the same price as the Rockits you're looking at. Look up the serial number ranges to look for in the Tannoys. The ones before a certain range of serial numbers had some noise to them when idle that could cause ear fatigue if you have the volume high. Apparently though they sound very good. Link to comment
audiventory
Yes. It's better way compare alternatives. I recommend check on records with deep bass and second record with dense high frequencies. And third with jazz hats, and with acoustic guitar.
